Book 1: A Numbers Game

In a world of super humans and advanced technology, security and law enforcement have become more commercial with several "Supergroups" available to call in times of trouble. Unfortunately as crime fighters have become more powerful, so have the criminals.

It's a set of these criminals that starts Echo, a non super powered crime fighter and chief of security for the Sanctum Supergroup, down the dark path to uncovering her mysterious past. Once only having her nightmares for clues, secrets and questions suddenly start unraveling around her and Echo's world soon becomes chaos as she learns what she used to be and discovers that the schemes of a once thought dead organization and its mastermind are still in motion.

Echo

She/her, 5’7”, Auburn hair, hazel green eyes, athletic build, slight curves. Non-meta, but is categorized as an enhanced human as she has medical nanites in her system. Generally serious and straight to business, comes off as cold and hard to read but is caring and loyal to her team. Echo is head of security. Specializes in security systems and infiltration. As she’s not a meta she relies on martial arts, fire arms, bladed weapons, personalized impact armor, a quick wit, quick reaction speed, Sanctum’s gadgets and very sophisticated computer systems.

Cassie Cote

She/Her, 5’4” pear body shape, long wavy brown hair, yellow cat eyes, generally very kind and helpful, a quiet manner of a friendly house cat till threatened. A martial artist, Echo’s assistant. A meta under the Therianthrope category. Her cat eyes are visible at all times but she can hide the other aspects.

Juno

He/Him, 5’9”, blue eyes often hidden by sunglasses, dirty blonde hair, shoulder length, more often than not pulled back into a ponytail, slim athletic build. Second head of security, Echo’s partner. A non-meta, weapons specialist, good with subterfuge missions. He has unrevealed secrets in his past. Loyal to those he manages to get close to but has a hard time getting to know people. Suffers insomnia.

Caiden Ruiz

He/Him, 6’0” deep tan skin, black super short cropped hair, mustache and goatee. Temporary military liaison to Sanctum to help with the Cane investigation because he’s dealt with him before. Classified as an enhanced meta, powers originally teleportation, enhancements include a cybernetic overhaul, metal reinforcements to his bones, one cybernetic eye, enhanced strength. Generally wears his emotions, and is a bit of a trouble maker. Caiden comes from a town called Plumbago on the southern coast of Texas, a resettlement town from the residents of the Victoria to Corpus Christi area.

Tine Hawthorne (Summer)

She/Her, 5’8” massive amount of white hair, tan skin, long pointy elf like ears, golden eyes that turn red when using her powers, curvy build. Meta with a high danger classification, the ability to control and manipulate heat on a temperature and a kinetic level. Works for both the company and Supergroup. Specializing in biology, has a masters and is working towards a doctorate in studying the DNA and evolution of meta-humans. Optimistic, warm and friendly.

Ethan James (Wisp)

He/Him, 6’0” mid-short black hair, light gray-blue eyes, pale skin, freckles, slim baseball player build. A meta categorized as a Psion and has the ability of telekinesis and telekinetics. Summer’s boyfriend. Only participates with the Supergroup when his abilities are needed. Generally quiet and gets anxious around crowds.

Velkan/Velk Armstrong (Shadowfang)

He/Him 6’4” brown hair in a mohawk cut, bottle brush beard, tattoos all over both arms, heavily muscled. Head of mechanics. Meta classified as a lycanthrope. Although scary looking he’s quite friendly, he enjoys cars and asskicking.

Dr Alexander Hughes Phd (Derecho)

He/Him, 6’2”, Short dark brown hair, mustache and goatee, in shape, average build, usually in designer clothes, is full of himself but still comes off as caring, usually has an easy going attitude. President of Sanctum Solutions US and head of Sanctum Supergroup. Meta abilities classified as weather manipulation.

Caiden Ruiz

Bunny

She/Her, 5’6” with blonde hair and glowing pink eyes. An android that is an almost perfect replication of a human. Her origin is mysterious (the story is that Mr. Parks founder of Sanctum Solutions UK created her). Her AI system is found in every aspect of the company’s and Supergroup’s systems.

Trevor Smith

He/Him 5’7” deep brown skin, short dark curly hair, small and timid and a nerd in every sense of the word but a genius and innovator in many of the company’s projects. Head of Sanctum's Research and Development department.

Loop

They/Them 5’0, light blonde hair, one blue eye, one green eye. They’re the co-owner of a bar called the Drunken Wolf. A friend of Echo, sometimes a helper and sometimes a trouble maker. They’re a meta categorized as a lycanthrope.

Aina Kallo (Cosmic Guardian)

She/Her, 5’4” platinum blonde, glowing silver blue eyes, considers herself a general enforcer. She’s a powerful meta categorized as an electricity user with telekinetic powers, and healing abilities. She’s quiet, mysterious, and keeps to herself.

Dr Bailey Ryan MD:

She/Her, 6’0” light brown curly hair, green eyes, freckles. From Scotland. Former military combat medic, she is now Sanctum's head field medic.

Bruin Harris (Irontitan):

He/Him, 6’6” bald, competitive weight lifter’s build, brown eyes, company vice president, government liaison, runs logistics, meta categorized under super strength. A serious and quiet man.
